What our room guests think

My wife and I stayed for a two night break away from the children... which was nice. Our stay at the Tollemache was superb. The food was absolutely stunning and the service was fantastic. In fact, it was more like visiting old friends instead of staying away on a 'pub break'. The local real ales are well worth trying and there is a large selection of after meal digestives which I certainly enjoyed in front of an open fire. I would certainly recommend a break away here, even if it's just for the breakfast! We will certainly be visiting again.

We were very impressed. A comfortable stay with wonderful food. Cosy and friendly and not noisy (unusual when staying in an Inn). The hosts and chef went out of their way to cater for my gluten free diet. Lots of choice on the menu and gluten free bread provided. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real bonus!

The room was very clean with new quality furniture .Staff are very friendly .The highlight of the stay had to be the food .very large portions and delicious.

Family run hotel and restaurant so friendly clean and relaxing. Really made to feel at home with nothing too much to do for you. Excellent quality food with great service. Came home so relaxed.

The breakfast is awesome and worth staying for. Lots of choice, good sized portions and as much as you want. Get there early for sitting by the fireplace. Rooms clean, thought through and really clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. For an overnight stay we couldn't have wished for more.
